  Academy Application Process

 

The POST Academy application is a multiple step process that open enrollees are required to

complete before the posted deadline of the recruiting period.  Please check the academy dates

and the application recruitment period.


If there isn’t currently an active recruitment period, continue to check the POST Academy webpage for          updates or submit an Interest Form to receive emails regarding upcoming academies.


 

Apply to San Diego Miramar College by completing a Spring application.

 

Sign in or Create an OpenCCC account.

Tip:  Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox internet browser are recommended for best compatibility.

 

 

     Be sure to “continue” to apply to San Diego Miramar College and submit your application.

 

Select the corresponding term and the following Major/Program of study:    

          Certificate of Achievement - Law Enforcement Technologies

 

Verify your application was submitted by checking your “My Applications” tab. 

          Your application should be listed under the Submitted Applications section.

 

 

Check your email (and spam folder) for the Welcome to mySDCCD” invitation                sent from studentsrvcs@sdccd.edu to retrieve your 10-digit User ID/Student ID#               and access the portal. 

Please allow up to 2 hours to receive your User ID/Student ID#.

 

If you do not receive your User ID and welcome email and User ID and invitation to the mySDCCD  portal within 2 hours, please submit an online help desk ticket.

 

Log into your mySDCCD or follow the account creation instructions for first time users.

 

If you are unable to verify your identity, please submit a help desk ticket or call (619) 388-6800.

 

Complete a San Diego Regional Public Safety Training Institute Application.*

 

Print, sign, and scan the completed SDRPSTI Application

 

Email your SDRPSTI application, SDCCD User/Student ID#, and valid California Class C driver’s license or current military ID and out-of-state valid driver’s license to rmarine@sdccd.edu.

 

 

Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. 

          *Applications will only be accepted during the Application Period posted.
